Objectives

General objectives

1. At national level, the project supports the objectives of the 4th Program of PNII:
   - Valorisation  and development of the national patrimony, mainly, and in the subsidiary :
   - Diminishing the socio-human inequities and on regional disparities.
   
   The project is framed in: - Domain 9 – Socio-economical and humanist research;
                                  - Research direction 9.5 - Material/nonmaterial patrimony, cultural tourism, creative industries;
   and corresponds/approaches differentially elements of  several research thematic, such as:

   • Research thematic 9.5.6. New practices of heritage rebuilding
   • Research thematic 9.5.7. Cultural production and social dynamics
   • Research thematic 9.5.5. Local development and cultural tourism
   • Research thematic 9.5.11. Evaluation of „key periods” in the history of Romania, and not only these.

Specific objectives

The specific objectives of the research domain are the following:

1. Research for the identification, systematization, processing and creation of new information and knowledge for the description of specific regional, community and group identity, as well as individual  - under various and complex aspects, and the analysis of the regional context and of other areas with similar problems in Europe;
2. Studies for the elaboration of own and specific methodologies for processing and realization of specific content to be public disseminated via the application that will be implemented  (the application of public dissemination of data;)
3. Research for the effective elaboration of various types of information (historical, geographical, geological,  archaeological, economical, ethnic, ethnographical, cultural, including patrimonial aspects,  group and community traditions, environmental, sociological and others) specific to the application;
4. Conception, design and building a portal type application, with specific functions for the dissemination of all categories of information, their  development, updating through administration and based on active virtual communities participation;
5. Conception, design and building of a database and management-administration modules filled in with specific content etc;
